Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The agricultural mechanization congresses, which have been regularly held in Turkey for 36   years as national and international, have being organised under the title of ¨The International Congress on Agricultural Mechanization and Energy in Agriculture¨ once in three years. We have undertaken the honour of arranging the 11th International Congress on Mechanization and Energy in Agriculture as the Department of Agricultural Machinery bound to Namık Kemal University Faculty of Agriculture.

The Congress will be carried out between the dates of September 21-23, 2011 in Istanbul, that is the European Cultural Capital of  2010, and which takes the admiration of the world by its historical background as well as its being geographically situated on both the Europe and the Asia. The Congress will comprise academic and scientific activities in addition to the cultural and social occasions based on Istanbul

As the Congress Organising Committee, we would like to invite you all to the  11th International Congress on Mechanization and Energy in Agriculture, which has become traditionalized for 36 years and which will be organized with the contributions of ASABE, EurAgEng and the Turkish Chamber of Agricultural Engineers. We believe that the Congress, focusing on a wide variety of issues concerning agricultural mechanization and energy, will become more beneficial with your participation
